When first moving to Miami in 2015, Tasker was met with corruption in the City of Miami Building Department. She didn’t back down nor did she give in to corruption. Tasker began fighting it as she helped other Wynwood business owners. In 2018, Tasker moved to Brickell Biscayne, an older Art Deco building next to the UNA Residences project. Seeing the results of corrupt HOA practice and diminished property values by fraud and neglect, Tasker began fighting back. Tasker ran for Miami Commission.
